Tarot Card X. "Fortune" often depicts a large wheel that contains a variety of symbols. In the context of this coin's reverse, the 12 constellations of the zodiac are on the wheel, with the exception of Libra, which is instead subtly donned by the blindfolded lady "Fortuna", the Roman goddess of luck, having the upside-down symbol on the center of the robes around her. Fortuna also carries a cornucopia or "horn of plenty" containing plenty of fruits and vegetables.
While the obverse depicts Lady Luck and the wheel of the zodiac, the reverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon, which is normally adorned with the colors of their flag, a scale in the middle and a map of the nation behind it. The words "Peace", "Work", and "Fatherland" encircle the top of the coat of arms, with Republic of Cameroon on the bottom, as well as the year, metal content, and monetary value.
