Medals were struck for the Constellation Committee of the Star Spangled Banner Flag House Association, Incorporated to honor the 175 anniversary of the launching of the frigate Constellation. “P” mint mark appears on the obverse. The 10,000 small .900 fine silver medals were struck in proof. Three inch silver and bronze medals have an antiquated finish.
