The Texas Freedom Medal as it has become known, was produced by the Philadelphia Mint for the Texas Heritage Foundation, Inc. 2000 bronze medals were produced and can occasionally be found framed as presentation pieces. They do not appear to have been publicly sold. The medal commemorates the one hundred and twenty anniversary of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836 as well as the battles of the Alamo, Goliath and San Jacinto.

This National Commemorative Medal was struck to commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of the late Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint without a mint mark for Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. 3000 were struck in bronze and 20 in gold.

It celebrates the 100th anniversary of the discovery of gold in Colorado and subsequent “Rush to the Rockies.” The reverse design commemorates the establishment of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. 10,000 struck in .900 fine silver only.
