This National Commemorative Medal was struck at the Philadelphia Mint with the “P” mint mark. Medals were produced for the Stone Mountain Memorial Association to commemorate the completion of the Stone Mountain Memorial in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Large and small bronze and silver medals were produced. The small silver is .925 fine with a mintage of 1,500 while the small bronze mintage is only 500. Large and small bronze and silver medals were also produced by Medallic Art Company with slightly modified designs and do not contain the “P” mintmark.
