This National Commemorative Medal was struck at the Philadelphia Mint with the “P” mint mark. Medals were sold by the Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce, Incorporated to commemorate the Winston Churchill Memorial and Library, Westminster College, Fulton Missouri. 8,000 bronze and 5,000 .900 fine silver were struck. One gold medal of the same size was struck for presentation to the widow of Winston Churchill.
