This National Commemorative Medal was struck by the Philadelphia Mint with the “P” mint mark appearing on the reverse. Medals were sold by the Chamber of Commerce of the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with proceeds going to the Roberto Clemente Memorial Fund. The three inch medals are convex with a incuse design. The small medals also have the incuse design and on a standard non-convex planchet.
