The third release in the Perth Mint's Puppies series, this adorable coin celebrates one of the world’s most popular dogs. Said to be golden on the inside and outside, the dog's mellow nature has for decades made them especially popular as children’s pets and companion dogs. While even tempered, they are also energetic and fun-loving, especially when they are puppies, as captured in this coin’s vibrantly coloured design.
The coin is struck from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.
The coin’s reverse captures golden retriever puppies’ loveable nature, portraying two gorgeous golden retriever puppies peering out from a basket.
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 Puppies – Golden Retriever 2018 1/2oz Silver Proof Coins.
