Critique: Only 3263 individual coins were minted, making this the scarcest QE2 proof sovereign released so far by the Royal Mint. Fortunately, that has not been reflected in the price, and examples in PF70UC can still be found at a reasonable cost. The explanation for the low price must be that the design is not special in any way, and so it doesn't stand out and command attention of enough buyers to drive prices up. The holder of this particular coin indicates that it was one of the first 75 struck, which should make it quite desirable in the future.
