Obverse: A laureated bust of King George III to right, a small D underneath GEORGIVS III REX.
Reverse: The Arms of the town of Bath between sprigs of laurel and palm VISITED BATH CITY SEPTEMBER 10TH, 1789.

One of several tokens marking the tour of King George III in 1789. On advice of the royal physicians the King left Windsor on the 25th of June of that year. Among the places the King visited and spent time at include Lyndhurst, Weymouth, Bath, Exeter, Saltram and Plymouth finally returning to Windsor Castle on the 18th of September, fitter than he had been for several years.
