The Drapers Hall was erected in 1775 in an area largely occupied by drapers. It was taken down in 1830 and a new hall erected for the Company.
One of Peter Kempson's series of 47 pieces featuring 19 Coventry buildings made for collectors. Peter Kempson also married each of the 19 obverse tokens with a reverse featuring the bust of George Frederick Handel using the obverse die of a private token made for J. Hardingham.
