A rather nice large cent for an early American coin.This coin and many early American coins possessing this amount of wear were the coins used in everyday commerce by average Americans.These heavily circulated coins helped our nation develop into the economic giant of today.They were doing what they were intended to do - circulate! In someways,while they are not as beautiful as uncirculated examples,they did more to advance the growth of our country than an uncirculated version of this coin,
