Issued to mark the accession to the throne of Christian X in 1912 upon the death of his father Frederick VIII. Christian X (1879-1947) reigned from 1912 until his death in 1947, Frederick was also the only king of Iceland from 1918-1944.
Obverse: bust of Christian X to right. Reverse: bust of Frederick VIII to right with date of death.
