Henry Biggs was the victualer of the General Elliot pub at 4 Moor Street, Birmingham.
General George Augustus Elliot was the commander of the successful defense of Gibraltar in a siege by Spanish forces that began on June 21st, 1779. The siege lasted three years, seven months and twelve days. General Elliot was honored by being created Lord Heathfield.
