Owner Comments:

I have to take at lest 50% of the responsibility for the label omission/error and registry confusion on this one. The label omission/error was more due to a lack of my knowledge on how to submit and how the registry works. I submitted this coin along with a duplicate and listed them as 2010, Isle Of Man Silver Angel. I did not make mention of the High Relief attribute that should accompany the coin, or submit it with any of the original packaging or COA. My thinking was that, there were only High Relief coins made that year so sending in any information or writing it down the attribute on the submission form shouldn't be necessary, Wrong. So subsequently the High Relief attribute was left off the label and the coin encased and returned back to me. My next though was that this con must not be a "High Relief" and that it was some sort of die or mint variation, so my next step was to request a slot for this coin in the Registry. The fine people at the registry granted my request and created an appropriate slot for the coin befitting the label. Well i can only assume that this created some internal discussion and/or confusion at NGC and/or complaints from other people with sets. As a few months later the stand alone slot for this coin was combined into the original 2010 High Relief slot, and the coin given a description of PF 1901CNBAP S5K Russia. Which explains the item Description above. with this coin having a lower point value than the High Relief version, it was devalued and essentially eliminated from being useful in the set. Well, with the coin having little to no usefulness now and me wanting to achieve a higher grade anyway I resubmitted three more 2010 Angels. All purchased from the same store as the firs two, this time I attributed the High Relief on the submission form and sent the coins in with there original packaging and COA's. This time the High Relief was added to the label and the coins fit nicely into the appropriate slots in the registry.

There are two of these coins from my submission, one of which I still have in my possession. The other I do not, and is out there somewhere. Finally I would like to apologize to anyone who may have been caught up in the wake of this saga, chalk this one up as a learning experience and I hope no one was to put out by it. I will update this if anything changes, as I have a feeling that this story is not over yet.
