To Edwin Rund for his Automatic Water Heater. 1904. Awarded by the Franklin Institute.
Reverse side is milled in concentric circles, similar to a vinyl record, Areas are then raised up by what appears to be welded bronze opposite the fields on the obverse side.
Originally secured to one of the doors on a Rund water heater, as seen in the 2nd image.
