The Trinity Almshouse stood at Mill End Road, between London and Bow. The Almshouse was founded in 1695 by an Elder of the Trinity House. Trinity House is a corporation established in 1529 and is entrusted with the control of lighthouses, sea marks, licensing of pilots and other maritime affairs.
