St. Louis Coffin Co. The Wearer of This Watch Charm is Agent For Caskets Manufactured by St. Louis Coffin Co. / Builders of Ambulances & Undertakers Wagons. Our Hearses Awarded Medal at World's Fair St. Louis Coffin Co.

Fascinating token with an unusual history. I am only aware of four of these tokens. The one shown in the Hendershott reference (with a large suspension hole), one which I found an image of online, and the two which I have acquired.

This particular token was found by Mr. Jerry Willis while hunting with a metal detector near an old mine house a few miles south of Battle Mountain, Nevada in the Shoshone Range (near Horse Canyon). It was buried very shallowly, within an inch of the surface.
