Owner Comments:

MEDAL APPEARANCE/CONDITION:
Brilliant Gem+
*Stunning, virtually perfect specimen with eye-pleasing light tannish-brown surfaces that sheen - Sharp/defined devices - Example appears under-graded; there are 2 small contact marks on the obverse and one small blemish on the reverse; the piece is nearly flawless. MS-66 seems to be a lower overall grade considering these factors.*

MEDAL BACKGROUND:
Struck circa 1971 to commemorate the centennial of Platteville, CO - The reverse reads, '135 years from arrows to atoms' which depicts an arrowhead surrounded by atoms.

RARITY: Unknown; Likely scarce (I have only ever encountered one other example)
NGC Census not available.
