Token used by the “Fremont Trading Company” in Climax, Colorado circa 1910 for 5C in trade.

There are two varieties of the 5C denomination from the Fremont Trading Company in Climax, Colorado. Type 1 exhibits “cents without a line” and type 2 displays “cents with a line.” Clearly this is the type 2 variety, as a line is clearly seen running through the “cents” symbol on the reverse. Both varieties appear to be equal rarity with more than 75 known of each.
