At the time of purchasing, top pop. From the sale's catalogue: "MEXICO. Empire of Iturbide. Durango. Silver Proclamation Medal, 1822. NGC AU-58. 32 mm. Grove-25a; The only example NGC has seen. Arms of Durango; Reverse: Five line inscription within wreath. Gray homogeneous surfaces with much color floating atop the tone."

Delightful arms of Durango (Nueva Vizcaya). Very rare.
