The difference in distinguishing between Richard Lobel's effigy of King Edward VIII and that of the recent Peter Jackson is the elongated extended neckline on the Jackson coins.
Richard Lobel's neckline of King Edward VIII has a more pronounced curve to the nape of the neck area. Most of Richard Lobels later Effigies of Edward VIII have the 1937 date just in a line near the neck.
