JNDA 01-29. A three year series from S13 (1938) - S15 (1940). The obverse has a double petaled cherry blossom surrounding the center hole, with a small paulownia crest to either side. The issuing authority (Dai Nippon/Great Japan) and regnal date are above/below the hole. The reverse has the chrysanthemum crest, with denomination and over a wave with sun rays.
Diameter 22 mm, aluminum-bronze, weight 4.00 grams.
