Medal, 1936, Bz, BELOIT CENTENNIAL, Beloit, Wisconsin, So Called Dollar HK-693 Bronze, NGC MS62, Cert# 4141586-033. Size: 36.5 mm. A very scarce, perhaps even rare issue struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Beloit, Wisconsin. Manufactured by Greenduck Company, Chicago. Obv. City Seal (?) on shield; to l., on ribbon 1836; to r., on ribbon 1936; above Centennial; below Seal Celebration; Rev. Across 100th / Anniversary / Official / Souvenir; below is Beloit on ribbon across shield and open wreaths; above all, around are ornamental designs; at bottom edge, microscopic Greenduck Co Chicago.
