Medal, 1962, Bz, CONTINENTAL CURRENCY DOLLAR, BASHLOW RESTRIKE in Bronze, New York, So Called Dollar HK-853A, NGC MS65RB, Cert# 2621134-010. Purchased from Alex Pancheco of Tipsico Coin LLC. The medal was originally part of the Bashlow Estate. The "Continental Dollar" restrikes were made using dies produced in 1876 by Montroville W. Dickeson. This is a nice mostly Red piece that has begun to mellow, with some splashes of light blue toning. Beautiful unbroken luster.
