Indiana the home of the Indianapolis 500 and a fine state quarter image. Curious though just how this error found itself waffled when I thought the waffling machines were brought in the following year in 2003. Maybe it is a test cancellation specimen that the mint used to see how the machine would work out for them. Either way I'm torn on the whole waffling process. Yes it does give new examples of errors, but it also destroys a whole lot of errors that could of otherwise gotten its way into happy collector's hands!
