Medal, 1801, Gold Gilt over Silver, UNION OF IRELAND, Great Britain, NGC MS62, Cert# 3592255-001. Rare Condition, Rare Gilt over Silver, The single finest Gilt example seen in decades. Medal by Conrad H. Kuchler for Matthew Boulton, draped bust of George 111 with hair in queue, rev. Britannia and Hibernia shake hands, JUNGUNTUR OPES FIRMATUR IMPERIUM (THEIR RESOURCES ARE UNITED, THE KINGDOM IS STRENGTHENED), 48 mm. (BHM 523).
