ND(1365-70) Lion Heaume' d'or - Design: OBVERSE: Lion seated left within ornate gothic baldaquin, wearing crowned helmet with elaborate lion-headed crest; in exergue FLANDRES. Legend- “LVDOVICVS : DEI o GRA : COM o Z : DNS FLANDRIE” translates as “Louis by the Grace of God, Count and Lord of Flanders ~ REVERSE: Cross fleury with "D" at center, "F-L-A-N" letters within the angles, all. within poly-lobed tressure. Legend – “+BENEDICTVS x QVI x VENIT x IN x NOMINE x DOMINI” translates as “Blessed be the one that comes in the name of the Lord”
