July 7, 1944 Japanese troops on Saipan surrendered to our US Forces. U.S. troops make an amphibious assault on the Japanese -held island of Guam in the Marianas. On July 20, 1944 German military leaders made an attempt to
kill Adolf Hitler in the Rastenburg Assassination Plot, having failed, Hitler then strikes back and kills about 200 suspected plotters. U.S. troops make an amphibious assault on the Japanese -held island of Guam in the Marianas.

**** In 1944, the Denver-Series has mostly good details and excellent eye appeal for a Wartime Silver Coin. In this
date these 44' Denvers are really nice an brilliant looking with great eye appeal to collectors. It shouldn't be tough to
find even fullsteps with this date.
