Set Description
This set is being carved out of the Primary Set > Australia > Australia - Commemorative > Silver 50 Cents, Commemorative Issues, 1988-Date, Proof. Note: This "set" is rather large (98 coins ) and very diverse in nature. There have been "Six" other sets created that have been "carved" out of this main set:

Sea Life I, The Reef, S50c, 2009-2010, Proof

Sea Life II, The Reef, S50c, 2011-2012, Proof

Australian Bush Babies, S50c, Series I, 2010-2011, Proof

Australian Bush Babies, S50C, Series II, 2012-2013, Proof

Birds of Australia, S50c, 2013, Proof

Dreaming Down Under Series, S50c, 2021, Proof

All of the above sets have been approved by NGC as separate sets. However when I asked them to approve my new "set" Congratulations New Born Baby" The NGC Registry "team" stated the following "We feel these coins are sufficiently represented in an existing set: Australia - Commemorative > Silver 50 Cents, Commemorative Issues, 1988-Date, Proof." So sea creatures, birds and wildlife animals are "appropriate" sets but my "New Born" baby set is NOT!! So here it is!!

Set Goals
To enhance coin collecting by putting together coin sets that are interesting and diverse. To show that "Everyman" collection is possible and need not be expensive to put together.

Note that this is the only known set that has been collected and graded by NGC!!
