SC$1 1906 CO HK-339 SOUTHWEST EXPEDITION PIKE'S PEAK OSTHEIMER COLLECTION HK PLATE 1ST & 2ND ED
NGC XF 45
This very rare piece came from the Ostheimer Collection of So-called Dollars and is the plate coin in both the 1st Edition and the 2nd Edition of "So-called Dollars" by Hibbler and Kappen. As of this date (10-30-2010) it is the only HK-339 graded by NGC and the tally on John Raymond's website, www.socalleddollars.com, shows that from 1975-2000 only one piece (An XF45) appeared at auction in the catalogs he researched.
