I had received this coin from Gerry Fortin in the mail just days before issue 131 of the Gobrecht Journal arrived. I did a double-take when initially flipping through the pages. This coin was the subject of an article, written by the previous owner. I bought it for the very late die state, with obvious extra cracks radiating from the initial bisecting vertical crack.
