View Coin   United States 1C 1906 NGC MS 65 RB
View Coin   United States $1 1896 PCGS MS 65
View Coin   United States $1 1893 PCGS MS 63
View Coin   United States 5C 1911 PCGS MS 65 A true rainbow on both sides! The luster on this coin is outstanding for the type, and it is a touch prooflike as well.
View Coin   United States $1 1776-1976 D TYPE 2 PCGS MS 64
View Coin   United States $1 1776-1976 TYPE 2 PCGS MS 65
View Coin   United States $1 1978 D PCGS MS 65
View Coin   United States $1 1879 O PCGS MS 64
View Coin   United States 25C 1920 PCGS MS 67 It isn't easy to find colors of any kind on a Standing Liberty Quarter. However, there is a small grouping of 1920 coins which exhibit a similar pattern of dual-sided targets. This is the prettiest of all of them in my opinion, and it is tied for the finest graded. The strike is completely full everywhere except for the three leaves in the hair, thereby just missing the FH designation. The luster is incredible and the toning is full and vibrant - even more so on the reverse.
View Coin   United States 1C 1945 PCGS MS 65 BN
View Coin   United States 1C 1943 S PCGS MS 67 I never thought I would find a toned steel cent! This is one of a handful with any color to ever even make it into a graded slab and it is the prettiest of all of the ones I have seen or know to exist. Incredibly clean as one would expect from the 67 grade and featuring a beautiful blend of pastel pinks and greens on the obverse.
View Coin   United States 1C 1935 D PCGS MS 64 RB An absolute monster coin. Showstopping rainbow target toning on the obverse and a nice blend of pastels on the reverse.
View Coin   United States 50C 1776-1976 D PCGS MS 66 Beautiful target toning on the obverse. The double-banded rainbow around the rim is electric and incredibly rare for a modern clad coin. The reverse has a nice golden tone.
View Coin   United States $1 1885 O PCGS MS 64 Gorgeous bag toning covers 90% of the obverse. There is a full rainbow on display but the dominant palette is purple and green. The hues are particularly deep and there is a nice diagonal of textile dots in the right field. Outstanding luster and no distracting marks. The reverse has some pretty color around the rims as a nice bonus.
CAC approved.
View Coin   United States $1 1888 O PCGS MS 65 CAC approved. A beautiful banded rainbow Morgan! Spectacular bag toning and very difficult to find for this date.
View Coin   United States $1 1979 D PCGS MS 66 Absolutely remarkable color for a Susan B. Anthony. The obverse has a double rainbow of color surrounding the rims, with a saturation usually reserved for a Morgan. There are also streaks of purple across the whole coin. The reverse has nice soft tones to complement the impressive portrait. The color on this one is even better than the 1980-D that I bought at the same time, although the luster on that one is second to none. QA Check approved.
View Coin   United States $1 1980 D PCGS MS 66 The Susan B. Anthony dollar is one of the most difficult coins to find with color. I was lucky enough to purchase this one and the 79-D together. The obverse of this coin has a beautiful concentric rainbow framing a pale blue portrait finally fading to a soft rose at the center. The luster on both sides is outstanding for the type. The reverse in particular has absolutely incredible flash, similar to a non-cameo proof. QA Check approved.
View Coin   United States $1 1891 NGC MS 64 A stunning two-sided toner! The reverse is also fully prooflike, which combines beautifully with the red-orange color to produce a deep, mesmerizing sunset. The apparent lines on the cheek are actually streaks where the toning breaks.
View Coin   United States 5C 1957 PCGS MS 65 A fully banded bullseye on both sides. One of the finest toned clad nickels in existence. The strike is also full on both sides, but a scratch across the steps prevents the FS designation.
View Coin   United States 5C 1903 PCGS MS 66 CAC approved. Pretty lavender and golden toning on both sides. The coin is mark-free and has fantastic luster.
View Coin   United States 1C 1959 PCGS MS 66 RB Gorgeous target rainbow toning on both sides.
View Coin   United States 25C 1776-1976 S SILVER NGC MS 66 A beautiful ring of pastel rainbow frames each side of this coin. I have no idea why this doesn't have a star.
View Coin   United States $1 1972 D PCGS MS 64 The obverse of this coin has an amazing display of deep purple turning to orange green, and bright red on the left. The reverse has a nice blue crescent on the left and a splash of a full rainbow on the right.
United States 10C 1954 S Arthur L Gowman Mindblowing luster, strike, and color. Lofty grade - pretty much a perfect dime.
View Coin   United States S$1 1996 EAGLE PCGS MS 67 Mindblowing rainbow color on both sides. Unfortunately, this isn't part of NGC's type set.
View Coin   United States 50C 1972 D PCGS MS 67 Simply amazing pastel colors for a clad coin. Tilting the coin just slightly reveals a fantastic display of greens and pinks.
View Coin   United States 25C 1968 D PCGS MS 66 Spectacularly vibrant color around the entire rim on the obverse. The reverse has a softer, subtle target toning.
View Coin   United States $1 1979 S NGC MS 65 Lovely album toning on both sides. The outer rim goes from deep russet to bright orange to a soft blue towards the center.
View Coin   United States 1C 1900 NGC MS 66 BN Bathed in blue and purple. This coin is absolutely flawless and extremely well struck.
View Coin   United States $1 1902 PCGS MS 64 Pretty color on both sides, especially the reverse. Very clean for the assigned grade.
View Coin   United States $1 1879 S PCGS MS 65 Monster crescent, ex-David Hall collection.
View Coin   United States $1 1884 CC PCGS MS 65 Beautiful sunburst toning giving way to blueish-yellow near the rims. Unusual to find them with this type of color and the cheek is extremely clean - this looks like a 66 to me.
View Coin   United States 1C 1909 VDB PCGS MS 66 BN Spectacular pink and green highlight the fields of this extremely clean and lustrous example.
View Coin   United States 5C 1962 NGC PF 66 A beautiful purple, yellow, and green proof from Bryan Orsborn. The coin was a gift (raw). I submitted it to NGC in 2005.
View Coin   United States 1C 1941 NGC PF 64 RB Christmas colors! Awesome luster and an array of pinks, reds, and greens. The coin comes alive when tilted in the light.
View Coin   United States 5C 1934 NGC MS 65 A beautifully toned, incredibly well struck buffalo nickel from an old album. This coin was bought raw along with the 1926 from a dealer in Florida. He had a virtually complete set, all with similar color to these (although most wouldn't have graded as high). I didn't buy the rest for lack of immediate cash and because I didn't want to take too much time at the store (I was with other people). Ugh!
View Coin   United States 5C 1926 NGC MS 63 nice rainbow obverse on both sides
View Coin   United States 1C 1957 D NGC MS 64 RB
View Coin   United States $1 1880 S NGC MS 63 Godzilla reverse toning.
View Coin   United States $1 1881 S PCGS MS 64 A beautiful purple rainbow crescent covers half the obverse. Some textile dots are visible to the left of Liberty.
View Coin   United States 50C 1955 NGC MS 66 Bought raw, submitted to NGC in 2005.
View Coin   United States 50C 1945 S PCGS MS 65 Sunset color on both sides frames this beauty.
View Coin   United States 25C 1926 NGC MS 66 FH From Heritage in the CSNS 2004 Auction, when the coin was in an NGC MS65FH holder:

"Perhaps the single most attractive Standing Liberty Quarter that this cataloger has examined, this vibrant Gem displays rich, beautiful russet-gold, crimson, yellow, and sea-green patina covering both obverse and reverse. The strike is unquestionably full, as is the flashy underlying luster, and, under magnification, only a single tiny contact mark could be found, on the eagle's breast. This Gem may even be conservatively graded, as an MS65, and would likely be regarded as high-end, for the assigned grade, by any knowledgeable numismatist."
View Coin   United States $1 1776-1976 S SILVER PCGS MS 66 A beautiful sunset of red-orange covers both sides. The color on the reverse is a bit brighter and also has some yellows and pinks. This came from a mint set Bicentennial pack and picked up the toning in the original packaging.
View Coin   United States 25C 1948 S NGC MS 66 An absolute monster. An explosion of deep purple, pink and green. This has the deepest and most vibrant color I've ever seen on a Washington quarter.
View Coin   United States 1C 1959 PCGS MS 66 RB A simply stunning memorial cent. Full target rainbow toning on both sides with loads of pink and green on the obverse. There is actually a whole group of these and Bob Campbell was nice enough to let me have (for a small sum, of course) one of the best.
View Coin   United States $1 1891 O PCGS MS 64 Beautiful toning covers both sides of this coin. Nice luster and very clean for the grade.
View Coin   United States 10C 1907 D PCGS MS 66 Beautiful rainbow toning on the obverse. This coin was in an NGC holder in the Gardner sale, but crossed to PCGS and resold.
View Coin   United States 10C 1968 D NGC MS 67 Rainbow rings on both sides and a hair short of FT too. Awfully nice for a clad coin!
