View Coin 1949S 50C United States 50C 1949 S PCGS MS 66 Awesome Franklin half with great luster and pretty strong strike. Strike is VERY close to full bell lines. Coin has a myriad of colored toning on both sides with medium gold, light green, and purple being primaries with areas of dark blue, dark gold, pink, orange, and yellow-gold accentuating the luster. Obverse is predominantly light gold with copious amounts of orange and a couple of larger areas of darker blue-green along the rim between 9:00 and 10:00. Reverse is more predominantly medium gray-gold with several areas of orange, pink, and medium green toning. Several light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade (mostly on obverse), but I would probably call it closer to MS65+.
