Mexico 1985 50 pesos struck on an unknown foreign planchet (not Mexico).
This coin is 21.90 mm (6.43 g) where the 50 pesos struck at the mint is 23.6 mm (8.55 g).
NGC failed to attribute since they felt it was "Altered Surface". Disagree with their attribution. I feel the coin simply shows signs of circulation. Will analyze further to include a possible re-submission to NGC or even PCGS.
