This issue featured Jack Kirby returning to prominence, with the origin and first appearance of the Challengers of the Unknown, the first Silver Age hero team. This was the first original concept for a Silver Age series. Kirby and Stan Lee's Fantastic Four was still nearly five years away! Not one single copy has earned a grade higher than this copy.
