Cool (and tough) black cover with the first appearance of Chance! He's more known for his Amazing appearances due to that Todd McFarlane guy drawing him.
I still haven't had a book pressed, but this was one that I wish I did. The only grader notes is that there were some bends to the cover, but none break the color. It would have been a sure 9.8 otherwise. Still looks sharp in the custom label though!

Not 1 but 2 1st appearances here! Both Humbug and Solo show up for the first time and Spidey has a lot to deal with!
Mark Bright and Joe Rubinstein totally killed it on this cover! The "sound waves" really accent Humbug's powers and you can feel Spidey's movement here. Ok, Solo being purple and resembling Dr. Manhattan isn't ideal but he stands out!

Spidey and Wolvie in his brown costume fighting together!
This is a sequel to the Spidey / Wolvie 1-shot with Hobgoblin and the Rose making appearances! This was a hot book back in the day when it came out, should still be! Cool ground-level cover and Spidey really looks menacing in his black outfit!

Ok, not my favorite cover of all time, but it is an important issue! No, not for the forgettable Phreak appearance, but for the first Lonnie Lincoln, aka: Tombstone!
There aren't too many in 9.8 out there and this is becoming a bit of a tougher issue to locate. I was lucky enough to snag this one with a custom label to boot!

Love this Hobgoblin cover! He's back in a "human" form ready to take on Spidey and Moon Knight, who he has had some run-ins with as well. And throw in the Foreigner for good measure as well!
