Star Trek or Star Wars? It's like Marvel or DC. You can, and should, enjoy/love them both. They are all iconic and have helped to entertain and thrill us for years.
I've enjoyed Star Trek since I discovered it as a kid. I've followed each new franchise and, with the exception of ST: Enterprise, really liked how they built upon each other. If I had to pick the one that is my favorite I'd lean towards ST: TOS. Kirk, Spock and the crew started it all.
I've primarily tried to focus on collecting cast signed books from the first 10 issues in decent grades that had the core 5 (Shatner, Nimoy, Nichols, Takei, Koenig). Unfortunately, Kelley and Doohan are not available to complete the group.
