Set Description:
I have been blessed enough to find these raw and for cheap, but when you need the book in grade, it may be better to buy the slab. The cousin of Superman needs to be brought to the screens, yet she is strong enough in print all her own. Be it good girl art, or just kicking aces, this woman is a team player. The Superman family is well knitted together, and they can be trustworthy! In their own series or just crossovers, you'd be lucky to have them by your side.
These are the days of old, when cousins rocked together in the name of the U.S.A, and united we stand!
Complete with flotation like devices, in the way of group dependability and leaning on each other, that are even in the form of some supports from fellow heroes in the click. It is, however, click-click-boom! When it comes to the psyche of being related to Superman and who is then truly leader of the pack? Respective character building and earning of said recognition then comes from team building and otherwise the managing of expectations. Supergirl is floating on morals and the friendly attitude of kindness, and although she can be considered weaker than her cousin, Power Girl floaties are just that i.e. power! Resting on those instincts to help a neighbor out by trusting in team like associations and otherwise building a trust in Her's and other's ability! She lights them up as well as any other, yet early on is coming to terms with what she will be when breaking out on her own. Wanting to have some accomplishments on her own resume for the jobs at hand, it bodes well for those willing to accept her as a helpmate, as she is honestly hoping to lend a hand, form team building decisions, and otherwise be a team player!

1st Power Girl. I got this with Ebay bucks! I still paid out of pocket the going price, yet it was like there was no tax :) super happy! I found a raw of this at Half Price Books to read, so it's a nice thing to see the cousin of Superman and read it. For the collection, a 9.4 to round it out with a Near Mint Copy! They team up but are having many disturbances at once, so they seem to tackle the best they can on their own as well. Power Girl Explains that she is capable and willing to do her best, with a splash page near the end in all her cute blonde glory. Keeping this nice Near Mint example, as I've run into many "raws" in the wild, but none as fine as this one. Those that testify of the search are rewarded eventually, by not being weary in well doing. Seek and find, knock it will be open, ask and you will receive! It happens to be the main effort for so many, and for anything else we set out to do!
Complete with a back cover picture of the "screen" at the prescreen before released publicly of "The Flash!" Times were hard and a spectacle but leaning in DC brought us some saving grace with the Flash to race! As in this and the next couple of issues, the Flash is showing to be the fastest man alive, as well the most levelheaded, which we needed in actor's portrayal's as well. The TV show finally settled in on a worthy specimen that showed the "red blur!" What of newcomers like Power Girl?

Gerry Conway story. Ric Estrada & Wally Wood art. Brainwave appearance. Wally Wood didn't do this cover, but safe to say it is nostalgia all the way for the insides, and the somewhat touted issue as the 2nd appearance of the Power Girl. Cousin bonds that correlate to the femininity and closing with some outstanding team building. From JSA down to the JLA, eventually, it has all the right makes and story markers for destiny! Built to last with some perky and whimsical "attitude" come this cheery issue with the Golden Age Flash being socked a punch. Yowzah! That has got to put in check any team leader, built in a Universe where Superman is probably the most palpable with heroics and powers, but don't let the speedster fool you, a one two counter is swiftly within the ranks of the new and improved stories. Building precept upon precept and line upon line, while swinging for the fences! Zoom-zoom.
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue from an under copy, showing the determinate underdog not giving slack, with Power Girl showing those one two punches, and the Flash responds, " I don't think she's listening, not while there is an emergency!" ~ to paraphrase a JSA member that will inspire the future JLA phenom!

1st appearance of Vulcan. Flash vs. Power Girl race. Gerry Conway story. Keith Giffen & Wally Wood art. Ernie Chan cover. Who doesn't love Wally Wood? For curves and nostalgia that is tough to beat. When adventure arises in the JLA or even passed on from the JSA, it is of all sorts when comes things of the "super" variety. Some powers that be and are family related but with relations to work as a team and get in those "stars and stripes" of the pursuit in happiness and the American Way! It is character building the world over. Races between the Flash and all others are thought of as a nuance since conception and attract readers to those particulars. Especially when branded the "fastest man alive", it can take a front page to any collection with those zips and zooms between him and any other DC type player involved, it would be hard but still awesome to collect them ALL!
Complete with the insides to this issue from an under copy, showing the Flash winning and stating by a "I won by a proverbial mile, I could have won by more..." "Do me a favor flash, don't do me any favors!" ~ Power Girl. Those are spicy lines between the new power houses that prove their salt with flavor, all while the Wildcat is showing some fighter ambitions! We don't always win them all.
