He's related to the Best There Is! Is he though? Can we give three claws, I mean wishes as to what the idea behind all the new Wolverine characters are? We get a glimpse as to what the Wolverine turned sinister would entail. We kind of already new, given some of the story lines. All seemingly less controversial storylines, the Wolverine can still get it done, to make you say like the Punisher stories, "That's messed up!"

The wolverine gets around, and often against his will. Being plotted and discussed for and by everything under the sun, that is his destiny if he is ever to sort it all out, but he has been at it a very long time with minimal success!
  
With some documented jilted lovers along the way, comes the Dark and Wolverine heirs that make it their own mistake by enjoying any altercation that may come their way. Such is the responsibility of Logan and needing to keep upright when descendants throughout his somewhat centuries of living come to bloodshed. It hasn't accumulated so much as of yet, but I fear will someday put a Spider-verse to shame, or at least proffer some competition! That is no joke! We should come up with a good name for it now to become prepared as Spider-verse had a good turn a phrase. Wolverine Seed? Wolvie-Kin? Brutes of ADAMANTIUM? As opposed to the current, "What the heck is happening?" Ha-ha.

$3.99 Newsstand Edition found at cover price at a local DVD store called Movie Trading Co. Love to find treasures like this even at 7.0. Awesome cover for Daken the Dark Wolverine! Being able to submit this and be the 1st to get it in the census means a lot to me. There are these oddities from time to time. Collectable to me, even if just because they're not easily found to be preserved. Whether they SHOULD BE kept is up to the individual. Still, something cool when looking through an interesting series, something to discover and look after for the collection. That is the way sometimes, is to buy what you like, and if it is a niche, it still can have the love of the hobby felt for it. CGC now addresses the Newsstands on a broader level, but that is in step with the market, hobby, and trends. Even less available 6 years later from acquisition, here in 2023, for extreme modern Newsstands.
Complete with a back cover picture of a prescreen gift giveaway of, "Terminator: Dark Fate, 'Carl's Draperies' Koozie!" That is a mouthful, whether it be a token of appreciation given away at prescreens, or the "Dark" moniker added for effect, these are the comics and things that can eventually say, "Hold My Beer!" Newsstands are like a niche of offering a "drapery cleaning service" when battling for the fate of the world, glad to have even tokens of appreciation found in the "wild!" To explain the Drapery Business, in the movie Terminator Dark Fate, Arnold is a Terminator waiting around in time to protect the hero from "other" Terminators, but when "nothing happened for so long", he took up a family and a "drapery business!" That was hilarious at the time, ha-ha!

Mattina knocks it out with a Zombie Cover! Zombie...Dark Wolverine, and this issue takes on a life of its own! A 1:10 ratio variant found at Movie Trading Co for Cover Price. Woot! Woot! When I found it, I didn't believe the price, as it had 2 stickers on it. One sticker was from the store I was at and the other that must have come from whom they got it from. I went to the counter to double check, and yes! It was the cheaper price, and now it was mine. I knew it looked to be a part of the "Marvel Zombies" books or promotions that I had heard of, and it WAS a striking cover, so I wanted to know more. This store keeps all comics in bags and boards, and you are not really allowed to take it out to look at it. It appeared NM+, and YES! It was! Thrill of the hunt plays out with some reward to diligently apply oneself to the hobby and to make the best situation they can.
Complete with a back cover picture of the water on tattoos given away at the showing of Deadpool/Wolverine circa 2024, hoopla that featured anywhere from Gambit to Electra and on to Blade, while showing the water mark type rendition that engaged audiences and or Marvel Zombies! Much to everyone's delight with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds going all out with even prizes showing up in claw machines at Dave and Busters, but don't forget your popcorn bucket!

$3.99 Newsstand Edition. Moonstone appearance. Dark Avengers (Norman Osborn, Ares, Venom & Bullseye) cameo. Collecting these "editions" can be hit and miss, but in the long run it is because they are few and far between in the wild and sometimes even in the market. As a run collector is considered to be in obtaining consecutive issues, and you'd need to know what was available on the actual "newsstands." Not all "newsstands" are equal, but there is some considerate time and effort built in to finding these that they can contain a premium. I bought this on Ebay for $80 shipped, which is a typical sale price for "high-grade-non-key-issues!" Dark Wolverine was trying to be a ladies' man, and here we have a cover with nice colors, even if the characters are a tad bit disproportionate. That can be the norm for a certain time period of comics, or especially if you looked in broader publications.
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue from my under copy, featuring MS Marvel. Is she getting too close? Fishing for the truth to do with that information as she then decides, but maybe for her own intuitiveness. Sometimes the unknown is so much worse in our heads, but a firm reality can be sobering! It's nice to romanticize but not when playing with "daggers", as this issue tries to illustrate while character building for Daken.
