Set Description:
The Kid, He is Darkhawk! Can we know or get a hold on what the future IS with this book? It has legs to grow, but to some it is the running joke of what to own when there is nowhere else to go or turn to for collecting needs. I got this free as a raw, but slabbing was within my reach, as it IS a GOOD READ!! A personal friend's fan favorite makes it into the collection as a must have for me. RIP James!
Darkhawk is in its own ether, but that isn't any gas or nitrate, it is its own gemstone. Powered by life and enthusiasm, and that is usually enough to take it to the bank on a collection!
"Skree-Skree!" Maybe that sounds too much like a seagull, but the hawks are swooping up the dollar bin to make it rain/reign upon "men" and kids. Taking up a title means some gems of reads that are all about, you wanted it you got it, responsibility! It isn't always handed down for the future generations either, as it takes a new origin to speak up and be heard for in flies the DARKHAWK! Being there when the distribution came in stores was its own story and reward, with some fresh rustling of the wings like an X-men hero and or villain, and all kinds are found in comics or even within Marvel reads! Akin to any superhero, and in times past, as "Timely" and overlooked for the past nostalgia that are now becoming overhauled in that style of glimmer and glam! A "new look" to swoop down and obtain some slab copies for the 'ole collection!

1st Darkhawk and Origin. I got this raw as a prize in THIRDGREENHAM's grading contest. It is a good little issue that has some buzz! I got it from Comics4all boardie. Glad to have someone so generous! Still, a great story, my friend growing up was gaga over this one and others. Those were the days when I may have been a bit snobby when it came to comics lol, yet my friend was Faithful. My faith was too. Good to see this have some underground swell, where like "Lays or Pringles", when "when one 'pops' you can't stop 'and' just have one!" Indeed, these are the series with promise because they were big when they came out, with ground swell from now 30 years ago as of 2022. Time is still clamoring for nostalgia, and lesser reader books have since been optioned or cancelled with reboots in film and in print, but nothing can beat that initial thrill of you and friends spotting a good read and just wanting a copy for yourself!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Argylle!" Quite a literary triumph that too invites us to know a normal everyday person that is soon to be endowed adventure, rather unknowingly! Like Darkhawk, the unwittingly deserved person is taken back at the newfound belief that there is something within them that tells the story of a superhero! Complete with a cat in toe, as opposed to a hawk! Argylle Stars Henry Cavill who played Superman and is directed by Mathew Vaughn who did Kingsman and Kick-Arse, which were Comics, Comics, Comics!
Grader Note:
light bends to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover.
