Set Description:
I actually own just the 2 CGC Detectives that are TRULY Golden Age, but they include Detective 45, the 1st Joker appearance (in the Title) and issue 58 (a restored copy I just got)-the 1st appearance of the Penguin.
MEANING OF SET TITLE--I own the 1st Penguin and the 1st Joker Detective, hence the "Flighty Joke" reference. In case you did not get it!
I love Golden age Detectives when I run across them, I just cannot fathom completing the run, let alone in CGC.
I also own a cool copy of Det 62, a great Joker Balloon cover, raw. After that, my Detective run is scattered until Detective 225, when I begin to collect in earnest.
In my Batman run, I have a much better chance of completing that run (in a combination of CGC and raw books).
