Owner's Description

A little while back I bought a box of world coins at a "backwoods" country auction up here in Vermont. I have since off this material on eBay and have more than recovered my cost. This coin was in that lot. I decided to keep it mainly because I had no cost in it and it has a three figure catalogue value. I dealer friend of mine once told me when ever he purchase a lot of coins he always kept back one coin out the lot for himself, and put no cost into that coin. I took his advice here.
