Owner's Description

I purchased this coin from one of the many Garrett Auctions.

I bought it because of how it game into the Garrett Collection. It was one of twenty such coins won by Mrs. Garrett from the president of Venezuela as the result of a bet at a race track. The Venezuelan Secretary of the Treasury was with the President and personally paid Mrs. Garrett from his own pocket. What other hobby gives you such history? I purchased this coin for $150.
