Owner's Description

The five cent pieces from the Straits Settlements for the dates between 1871 and 1877 (five issues) have four dates that catalogue over a $3,000 U.S. in UNC. This is one of them. This must be a challenging set to assemble.I am sorry about the quality of the photos. This is an important coin and deserves better photos. Sometimes I get it right the first time, sometimes the second or third and then there are times like with this coin I just can not get it. This has very nice luster and while a very light silvery gray, it is no where near as dark as the photo. This coin was purchased from an auction in Australia. I paid $800 AU plus a 16% fee. This was several years ago.
