Owner's Description
Mintage 2,000,000 - -inted in Philadelphia - 2.000 g. - Bronze - minted on a thick planchet. Very beautiful chocolate brown with some nice blue toning on the reverse. Coat of Arms Was adopted in 1823 as the coat of arms for the Federal Republic of Central America which included the countries of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The Triangle signifies equality, the rainbow peace and the Phrygian cap liberty. The volcanoes represent each of the 5 countries in the original republic.
