Owner's Description

This 6.25 grams, .900 Ag, 24.3mm, United States 25 cents commemorative coin 1,094,993 and has a NGC population of 7,859. The obverse of this coin was engraved by J. Flanagan and features the left facing portrait of George Washington, the first president of the United States from 1789-1797, is accompanied with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the lettering "LIBERTY" and it is surrounded by the facial value at bottom and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" at top. The reverse of this coin features a leaping King Salmon with the active volcano called Mount Rainer featured in the background. It is covered with more than 35 miles of snow and ice. The Washington Quarter was the forty second coin in the State Quarter series. It was released on April 2, 2007.
