Owner's Description

This 12.50 grams, .900 Ag, 31mm, Honduran 1 Lempira coin had a mintage of 4,000,000 and has a low NGC population of just 40. The obverse of this coin features a chiefs head within a circle facing left with the lettering UN LEMPIRA at top and 0.900 at bottom. The reverse depicts the National Arms of Honduras with the lettering REPUBLICA DE HUNDURAS at top and the date 1937 at the bottom. This coin has been demonetized.
