Owner's Description

This 31.10 grams, .999 Ag, 38.61mm, Great Britain 2 pounds Britannia was minted to order and has a NGC population of only 88. The obverse of this coin features the legendary figure of Britannia which has symbolized Britain’s strength and integrity on coinage since Roman times. Little wonder then that the silver Britannia, with such a depth of history behind it, has been a popular choice with bullion buyers ever since its introduction in 1997. The reverse of this coin depicts H.M. Queen Elizabeth II (4th portrait) engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley.
