Owner's Description

This 27.30 grams, .500 Ag, 5 dollars, Cook Islands Wildlife Conservation coin had a limited mintage of just 11,000 and this is the only NGC graded example. The obverse of this coin depicts a young bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right with the date below. The reverse depicts Polynesian Warblers by nest in branches with the denomination below. The edge has the lettering: 1728 CAPT. JAMES COOK 1978.
