Owner's Description

This 28.28 grams, .925 Ag, 24k Au gilt, 5 Pounds coin commemorates Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday. This coin has a NGC population of 2 and this is the highest graded example. The obverse was design by Ian Rank-Broadley and depicts H.M. Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara with her head facing right in Au gilt. The reverse depicts the Queen on horseback with the number 80 and the edge in Au gilt. The coin is 38.6 mm in diameter.
